So, Pru-bear lost her umbilical cord stump last night. We noticed it was kind of hanging loose during our dinner; later I found it hiding among the folds of her sleeping gown as I was changing her. She’s just got a little scab there now (indisputable visual evidence after the break), which I assume will fall off in a few days, leaving her with a regular navel. She seems very excited, and is getting her gaze all ready already.
Just remember, baby, there’s no going back now – it’s mouth feeding, or nothing.
Taken during this morning’s fun bath-time adventure (of which more later).
How about a college education from the navel fairy?!

From Rasmussen Reports:Wednesday, October 21, 2009Sixty-three percent (63%) of Americans bievlee patients should be allowed to smoke marijuana if it is prescribed by a doctor. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that only 24% of adults say patients should not be allowed to smoke pot in cases like that. Thirteen percent (13%) are undecided. The survey was taken following the announcement Monday by Attorney General Eric Holder Jr. that the federal government will no longer prosecute those who use marijuana for medical purposes or those who sell the drug to them. (there’s a bit more)…
p.s. love, u.p.

150 n Out: Food,Fun, and entertainmentMy recent travels took me to 150 n Out billards and darts in Mooresville NC. I figured it would be just a pool hall with average bar food. Upon entering the facility I was shocked about how professional it was. The pool tables were very nice, the seating was comfortable. 150 n Out has beer on tap, but no hard alcohol, it gave me a better sense of security. The current menu needs work, but I got to see a glimpse of the new menu that is supposed to come out in mid November and its much better and is set to the theme of the restaurant. Upon looking over the menu I noticed the weekly specials, it was a great variety of traditional comfort food and unique ideas. I decided to order the caprese salad. I was expecting a traditional basil, tomato, and mozzerella cheese layout, but what I got was brilliant. The caprese salad was a layout of tomato and fresh mozzerella, in the center of the plate was a juicy grilled chicken breased cut into slices topped of with chiifenade basil and drizzled with a balsamic glaze. All in all its a great place to go with friends and family. It is a fresh business that is definatly headed in the right direction ( 3 stars out of 5 )
I like the avatar. Couldn’t be more handsome if we were related by blood. 😉
